ABOUT THE TRAINING

TSMT individual therapy course:

Following the Longikid@ assessment Longitudinal Complex Assessment, an individualised therapy plan is devised for the child. If the results show that TSMT is the most appropriate course of action for the child's neural development, a gymnastics program is initiated. If the results indicate that further testing is required for vision, hearing or neurology, then those areas will be addressed separately.

The gymnastic sequences are delivered and taught by the therapist to the family who perform the exercises at home with their child in addition to the therapist's sessions. The first series of exercises extend for two months. During this time the execution of the activities are closely monitored under the weekly control sessions and any changes deemed beneficial are made according to the therapeutic goals. The whole course typically lasts for six months and up to three variations may be implemented depending on the progress of the child.

The implementation of the gymnastics program at home demands time, energy and commitment from the family. TSMT quickly becomes a joyful activity and the results speak for themselves.
